Day 1

half-timbered housesWe pick you up at the Frankfurt airport (incl.) and escort you to your hotel, located in a wonderful medieval village near Mannheim. Enjoy a stroll through its ancient alleyways! Did you know that the first car ever was invented nearby? Look forward to local cuisine as a welcome dinner in the evening (incl.).

Day 2

medieval town gate with two towersWe introduce you to your motorhome. Afterwards we head north and stay overnight near the Dutch border. Our host village radiates a fascinating historical charm, mainly shaped by the Roman Empire. It is also known for its well preserved medieval town centre.

Day 3

motorhomes at ferry terminalWe arrive at the ferry terminal near Amsterdam for an early evening departure. On board our cruise ferry you can enjoy dinner, a first pint of British ale and some live entertainment. Watch mainland Europe disappear in the sunset.

Day 4

Hadrian's WallA breakfast coffee on board first, then our Scottish adventure begins. Your first drive on British roads towards Edinburgh leads through fascinating scenery with views of rolling moors, steep hills and green meadows. We stop at the famous Hadrian's Wall, the iconic landmark of Roman Britain, south of the Scottish border.

Day 5

Edinburgh CastleEdinburgh! Called 'Auld Reekie', the capital of Scotland is home to the Scottish parliament, the Fringe Festival, the Royal Mile and Princes Street, the Castle Rock, Harry Potter and and and... Our guided tour (incl.) reveals every important fact about this magnificent city. But you will also have time to explore it on your own.

Day 6

Large Scottish lochWe leave Edinburgh and stop at the mystical Rosslyn Chapel, famous for more than just Dan Brown's 'Da Vinci Code'. A tour (incl.) will uncover its true secrets. Afterwards we head for the Victorian village of Pitlochry with the 'Queen's view' nearby. Finish the day with a wee dram during our distillery tour (incl.)

Day 7

Blair CastleLet the Highland Games begin! Today we take a tour of Blair Castle (incl.) and then watch the annual parade of the Atholl Highlanders, Blair Castle’s private army, in the afternoon (incl.). Expect a traditional spectacle and a lot of unique Highland tradition. 

Day 8

yellow Scotlanf flag and man with caberWatch out for flying cabers and follow other heavy competitions like 'weight over the bar' or the 'cannon pull'. But Highland Games wouldn't be complete without races, dancing and Tug o’ War. This will be a fun-packed day and of course this event is included.
